MIKE PORTNOY AT MOTHER'S MUSIC EDMONTON!
Dream Theater's resident drum-god Mike Portnoy made an exclusive stop at Mother's Music Edmonton August 19th for a fantastic meet and greet. Over 200 enthusiastic Portnoy fanatics came by to shake hands and pose for pictures with one of the most acclaimed

VIRGIL DONATI CLINICS!
Mother's Music would like to thank all of you who came out to the Virgil Donati clinics at all Mother's locations. Virgil demonstrated exactly why he is one of the most well known technical drummers today. Special thanks to Mr. Donati and his drum tech Rene and we hope he will come back to Mother's for another demonstration of pure speed and skill.

LAMB OF GOD'S WILL & CHRIS ADLER MEET & GREET AT MOTHER'S-

Mother's Music hosted the Adler brothers from Lamb Of God at our Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg locations April 10, 11th and 13th. The crowds were fantastic (over 340 at the Edmonton location!) and Will and Chris were awesome! Give-Away winners included:

PAPA ROACH & THORNLEY - LIVE IN-STORE! PRESENTED BY MOTHER'S MUSIC & 100.3 THE BEAR!
Mother's Music and Edmonton's Best Rock 100.3 THE BEAR had a Howlin' good time on Halloween! Papa Roach stopped in for a meet and greet/autograph session and all in attendance were treated to a scorching acoustic set by Thornley. Click here for pictures.

As part of our 50th Anniversary Celebrations, Mother's Music Edmonton was very pleased to bring Eric Singer to our Edmonton location for a special meet & greet. Eric was very gracious and spent all of his time signing and talking to the many fans who were in attendance. Members of Alice Cooper's band and Econoline Crush also made an appearance at the store.

JASON KRAUSE & MARLON YOUNG AT MOTHER'S EDMONTON
On July 10th/08, Mother's Music Edmonton welcomed Jason Krause and Marlon Young from Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band, for a very informative guitar clinic on Diamond Amplification. Andy Timmons Rocks Mother's Edmonton!
WOW...that's the first word that comes to mind after the Andy Timmons Guitar Clinic held at Mother's Music Edmonton October 15th, 2007. Andy was in stellar form as he played tunes from his CD's Revolution and That Was Then, This Is Now as well as discussing his awesome Mesa rig! Andy impressed everyone in attendance with his unbeleivable performance and humour. On October 20th/06, one of rock's most influential drummer's stopped by the Mother's Music Calgary location to do a meet and greet with his fans and to promote his signature snare from Pearl , his Rebel Meets Rebel CD and the Dimevision DVD. Hundreds of die-hards showed up to meet Vinnie Paul and a great time was had by all. Click here for the pictures.
