A reissue of an 1981 Ibanez AR5000 ornate vintage model, the Ibanez Artist AR5000RE Guitar is a limited edition double cut-away guitar with a vine neck inlay and is the only one available in Canada.
The Ibanez Artist AR5000RE Guitar features mahogany body with flamed maple top, 3-pieces maple neck, ebony fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, 24.75″ scale length, Gibraltar bridge, Quick Change II tailpiece, 1 Super 58 (neck) and 1 Super 58 PAF (bridge) humbucker pickups, built-in preamp with 3-band EQ and on/off switch, 3-way pickup switch, 3 Tri Sound parallel tap switches and master volume and tone controls.

On July 10th/08, Mother's Music Edmonton welcomed Jason Krause and Marlon Young from Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band, for a very informative guitar clinic on Diamond Amplification. IT WAS 50 YEARS AGO TODAY……….
Well, not TODAY exactly, but 2008 marks the 50th Anniversary for the Mother’s Music organization and we have some AMAZING 50th Anniversary surprises and specials coming this year for you, our valued customers who have supported us for 50 years.
In August of 1958 Gordon Chatham Price began serving Edmonton area musicians at the original Gordon Price Music location in Edmonton, on 82 Avenue near 109 street; at the store that still bears his name today. As word spread and business grew, Mother’s Music and The Drum Shop were born and we now operate 5 Mother’s Music / The Drum Shop and Gordon Price Music locations in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg.
